Geppetto's is an upscale pizzeria located on DePasquale Plaza, next door to
Caffe Dolce Vita and Villa Dolce Vita. Geppetto's is co-owned by Gianfranco
Marrocco, Mark Maginot and Michael Kyriakakis, formerly of Gepetto's on the
East Side. Floor-to-ceiling French doors open up onto the plaza, revealing the
yellow-ochre walls and dark wood trim inside Geppetto's The highly creative
menu features hearty soups, a wide variety of contemporary salads, trendy
appetizers, fresh pasta dishes, grilled roll-up sandwiches, and Geppetto's
legendary pizza - grilled, oven-baked, gourmet and varieties. In the summer,
outdoor dining under the sun and the stars is available in the lively European
style courtyard.

It was a very inviting scene: The French doors were open. Tables spilled out onto the plaza. Lots of people were dining there. But the food at Geppetto's -- ta-da -- is very very good, reasonably priced, and with portions big enough to satisfy the heartiest appetite.
